ICC T20 world division Qualifear game Nepal Vs USA in 2015-07-10 ,
Nepal started their t20 qualifier campaign with a last over win against USA chasing 122 runs. Earlier America won the toss and chose to bat first. They started very well scoring nearly fifty runs in first six overs losing a wicket. But once the spinners were brought into attack USA struggled to carry the momentum and were eventually bundle out on the last ball for 121 run. Opener Akeem Dodson was the top scorer for USA with 39 runs from 33 balls which included 4 fours and a six. Another opener Fahad Babar made 23 from 15 ball with 3 fours and a six. For Nepal Shakti Gauchan was pick of the bowler grabbing 3 wickets from 4 overs of his and conceding just 16 runs.. Basanta also picked up three wickets giving away 24 runs. Sompal grabbed two wickets while Sagar had one to complement the tight bowling display from Nepal. The one worry however will be Karan KC as he went for 27 runs in 2 overs.
Nepal chase started with a wicket in the very first over as Sagar pun was bowled for 6 runs.Then Malla and Anil shared 78 run paternship between them for third wicket which set the tone of the chase for Nepal. Anil made a hard fought 29 runs from 42 balls with just one four. Malla however was more fluent and scored 52 runs from 43 balls with six fours and a six before being adjusted lbw in the ball of Jasdeep Singh.. Binod bhandari struggled as before and was out for 7 runs.. Paras made unbeaten 21 from 17 balls with two boundaries while Sharad made unbeaten 2 runs to see Nepal home safely in final over where nepal needed 8 runs to win. Paras scored a boundary of first ball of 20th over to swing the games towards Nepal’s way. Nepal plays its second game against Namibia today
