Tiger befriends goat which was intended

The life of Timur the goat was supposed to come to a rather gruesome end in the tiger’s enclosure at the Primorsky Safari Park in Russia.He was intended to be a meal for Amur, a Siberian tiger – who is normally fed two live animals a week.
But Timur had other ideas, confronting the tiger rather than meekly accepting its fate.The goat chased the tiger around the enclosure, which appears to have rather perplexed the big cat.Then, to add insult to injury, Timur decided that the shelter which had been where Amur slept, would be even better accommodation for a weary goat, NBC reported.
Amur, who was banished to the shelter’s roof, for the last four nights appears to have accepted this latest indignity with rather good grace and now the two animals are firm friends.Timur follws Amur everywhere, oblivious to the potential risk.Staff at the safari park have ben impressed, naming the goat Timur after a courageous kid from a children’s book which was popular during the Soviet era.Siberian tigers, an endangered species, are not normally known for their passive nature.
